Movement Disorder
AIMS AND SCOPES
- To spread awareness regarding the subspecialty of Movement Disorders among neurologists, medical professionals, allied health care professionals, patients and caretakers.
- To provide a platform for neurologists interested in Movement Disorders for networking and collaboration.
- To promote the development of Movement Disorder Clinics and dedicated movement disorder specialists throughout the country.
- To conduct CME programmes across the country that will update general neurologists on the latest that is happening in the academic movement disorders arena.
- To enable collaborative and multicentric research in movement disorders, specifically tailored to the needs of our country.
ACTIVIties OF the movement disorder subsection
a) Conference/Symposia/workshops pertaining to Movement Disorders (once in 1-2 years)
b) CME program during Annual Conference of IAN (once in 1-2 years)
c) Business meeting of the subsection during Annual Conference of IAN
ELIGIBIlity
- All the members of the Indian Academy of Neurology are welcome to join
How to join?
- Login to your account, through the Login option at the top right corner
- Your Member account will open. In the Member tab, select the 2nd tab – Add Subsections
- Select the subsections of which membership is required and click on Pay Now
- Payment portal will open with option to pay using credit card / debit card / NEFT
- Onetime subscription fee is Rs 1,000 + GST = Rs 1,180 per subsection
