IAN Election 2019
ONLINE ELECTIONS ARE CLOSED. RESULTS AWAITED
Dear IAN Members,
In keeping with the decision taken during the Annual General Body Meeting of the Indian Academy of Neurology held on October 04, 2019 at HICC, Hyderabad, we are proceeding with the elections for the post of President-Elect, Indian Academy of Neurology for the year 2019-2020.
In departure with previous from previous practice, E-voting will be held for the elections to the post of President Elect 2019-2020 of Indian Academy of Neurology.
To view the names and profiles of the candidates seeking election, you can login to the secure election platform through the link at the top of this page, by entering your IAN LM Number, your Registered Email id OR Mobile Number and an OTP which will be sent to your mobile number as well as email id.
The timeline for elections is as follows:
| Thursday, October 24, 2019, 08:00AM | Online Elections OPEN, Election Platform Live via IAN Website. |

| Sunday, November 10, 2019, 05:00PM | Online elections CLOSE. No one can vote after this time (voting by emails/SMS will not be considered). |
| Monday, November 11, 2019, 02:00PM | Counting of Ballots by Electoral Officer. |
| Monday, November 11, 2019, 05:00PM | Announcement of results of election by Electoral Officer, IAN on website and by email to all members. |
Election/Voting procedure:
1. Go the Election link via IAN Website home page http://www.ianindia.org
2. Enter your IAN Membership number (e.g., LM-293; Please do not forget the hyphen between LM and the number)) and registered e-mail id/mobile number.
3. You will then receive an OTP via both e-mail and SMS.
4. After entering the OTP, you would be directed to a page which will have a button “IAN Elections 2019”. Click on the button and you will be able to view the position for which elections are being held. On clicking the position “President Elect” you will be able to view the candidate profiles.
5. Following this you can cast your vote and submit thereof.
6. You will then receive a confirmation e mail & SMS.
Note:
- Voting by email/SMS will not be considered.
- Votes cast after Sunday, November 10, 2019, 5:00 PM will be rejected.
