Election/Voting Procedure
Go to IAN website www.ianindia.org. On the home page, there is a blue box titled Epilepsy Subsection Election 2024. Click on that box.
You will be redirected to our secure online election platform. IAN logo will appear on top
You will have to login with the following credentials:
Your registered Email id OR Mobile number
Your LM or LAM number (only number, without Zero at the beginning)
Click on Submit
You will receive an OTP on your mobile by SMS as well as by email, valid for 10 minutes
Please enter this 4 digit OTP
On successful login, you can click on “IAN Epilepsy Subsection Elections 2024” and fill up the Nomination Form
Enter your brief profile (upto 100 characters). This will be visible only to the Electoral Officer and Returning Officer.
Upload your detailed CV (in .pdf format, file size upto 2 MB). This will be visible to all voters.
Upload your photograph (in .jpg, .jpeg or .png fomat, file size upto 2 MB)
You will need to provide a Proposer and Seconder for your nomination. These should be IAN Life or Life Associate Members and also members of respective subsection. They should approve your nomination before the end of nomination period. You will need to enter their IAN Membership Number (Please add only Membership Number (only number, without Zero at the beginning)) . Email id of the said member will be displayed. An email will be sent to both the proposer and seconder. (Kindly check with them in advance, that their emails are in IAN records. If their emails are not in IAN records, you will not be allowed to submit your application).
Then click SUBMIT
A message will be displayed that your nomination has been successfully submitted.
Nomination Withdrawal
To withdraw your nomination, between Monday, February 19, 2024, 8 AM to Thursday, February 22, 2024, 5 PM
You can go to the IAN website. Using the same link to login.
You will receive an OTP on your mobile by SMS as well as by email, valid for 10 minutes
Please enter this 4 digit OTP
Your will see your nomination.
There will be an option to Withdraw. Click on that.
A message will be displayed that your nomination has been withdrawn.
Proposers and Seconders
IAN Life or Life Associate Members who have been mentioned as Proposer and Seconder will receive an email with a link.
On clicking the link, you will be directed to a page where you will see name of the IAN member and the position for which the member has submitted nomination.
To approve the candidature, click on APPROVE option.
You will receive an OTP on your mobile by SMS as well as by email, valid for 10 minutes
Please enter this 4 digit OTP and click on Submit
A message will be displayed that your support for candidature has been successfully submitted.
Check Nomination Status
Go to IAN website
Click on Nomination Link
Login, as per procedure mentioned in Nomination section
You will see a message You have already submitted your nomination for this election.
On the right top corner, there is an option to View Details. Click on that.
